My first trip to the Big Apple was fantastic! Iconic sights, a wide choice of restaurants and bars wherever you go, fascinating museums and fabulous shops. The MoMA museum is free on Friday evenings, and you can take the free Staten Island Ferry to get close to the Statue of Liberty for a fantastic view of Manhattan. A good local bar/restaurant with great meatloaf is Fanelli's Café - 94 Prince Street, Soho (at Mercer St).
